Special Opportunities
Sacramento State University is pleased to offer a variety of special opportunities for donors who wish to make an impact on the lives of our students and the future of our university. From supporting unique initiatives in Engineering and Science, to helping facilitate artistic expression through the Arts & Culture Lab, there are many ways that you can give back.
Art Sculpture Lab
Art students at Sacramento State will have a brand-new space to imagine, design, craft, and display their works. Because of supporters like you, the College of Arts and Letters is constructing a new Art Sculpture Lab (ASL) to replace its current aging facility. The building will feature painting, drawing, and sculpture studios; wood and metal shops; a dedicated covered outdoor space for ceramics kilns and other large equipment; an outdoor sculpture yard; a lobby common area/gallery; and 12 individual studios for graduate students.

Sacramento State Placer Center
Placer One is a 2,213-acre master-planned community in Placer County that will feature 5,636 residential units, commercial and employment centers, parks, and natural open space. An extensive bikeway network will connect neighborhoods with jobs, shopping, and dining. Additionally, the development includes a future site for the Sacramento State Placer Center and Sierra College Transfer Center, making it an unprecedented partnership between the county, developers, and educational institutions.
